Sometimes
referred to as a grass or flat marker it is
a memorial that is placed into the ground on
top of a concrete foundation. This leaves the
face of the memorial flush with the ground.
Many cemeteries require this style of memorial
for ease of ground care.

The
face has a slight bevel to it and is placed above ground on
a granite base or on a foundation. The dimensions of a bevel
vary but our standard is 6” to 8” above ground. They could be
as large as 12”. The sides on a bevel are what we call balanced
rock pitch, sawed or polished.

The
monument is what it sounds like. It stands above ground
sitting on proportioned base. We have standard sizes
available but the size can vary and is limited to budget,
cemetery regulations, and good judgment.
